Working Principle of DSH vertical cone screw blender / liquid powder mixer
DSH series double screw cone mixer consists of two cylindrical screws located at the vessel wall that conveys product from the bottom of the conical vessel to the poduct surface. The screw is attached to an arm which rotates around the perimeter of the vessel causing convective mixing and shear. The particles at the surface opposite the screw accelerate downward in a mass flow by gravity as the diameter of the vessel decreases. The three actions result in a unique three dimensional mixing action. The special mixing action ensures a very homogenous mixture and short mixing times. The conical vessel design allows a wide range of filling capacities and the mass flow characteristic design minimizes segregation upon discharge. Because there are no horizontal surfaces, products are completely discharged. minimizing product loss and providing for easy cleaning.

3. Heating jacket: A heating jacket can be equipped as an option in the mixing tank shell for heating or drying process. The heating medium can be steam, hot water or hot oil. Design pressure is 0.3 Mpa.
4. Liquid spray nozzle: Spray nozzle can be equipped as an option to add liquid additives which can be evenly sprayed onto the mixture.
5. Well bearing sealing: Shaft sealing is the combination of packing sealing and air-tight sealing to make sure long life-span.
